Dedicated to incubating local and international artists and designers, K11 MUSEA collaborated with over 100 skilled creatives in Hong Kong and across the globe to create the story of the Cultural Muse Encounter. Aptly staged across multiple floors in the Opera Theatre, 45 contemporary performers will inspire audiences through depicting the journey of four Muses: Art, Design, Nature and Fashion. From 21 to 26 December 2019 at 3pm the cross-genre narration will feature acrobat duos, ballerinas, two opera singers, one beatboxer and a marching band.
Costumes Cultural Muse Encounter created by internationally renowned costume designer Miodrag Guberinic together with Hong Kong designer Chocolate Tsang , Muse of Art will be draped in a modernistic red costume followed by the appearance of Muse of Design in a white geometric outfit, Muse of Nature in a green organic textured outfit and Muse of Fashion decked in a couture armour accompanied by the marching band in gold and black. International Choreographer Giulio Scatola collaborates with local artistic directors Jennifer Chiang and Lemon Doo Ting Fung to conjure the story through dance.
