A Village 成村人,人權人

As part of Hong Kong Human Rights Arts Prize x Eaton HK, Eaton HK will host a day of critical programmes under the title “A Village” in response to the exhibition, on Saturday 26 January 2019.

Taking as its starting point the notion that “it takes a village”, the day of explores each individual’s responsibility for social violence. Considering major historical phenomena from colonialism to the Holocaust, to present day human trafficking and modern slavery labour practices, this day invites us to question how it takes a village to make manifest human tragedies.
