The Symphony of Edible Arts: Rice

Cake artist, Dim Sim chef and Home Cook Experts will gather to demonstrate how they use rice in their culinary creations.

As far back as 2500 B.C. rice has been documented as a source of food, beginning in China and the surrounding areas. Slowly, its cultivation spread throughout to India, Greece and spreading all the way to Southern Europe and even North Africa. With this widespread cultivation, rice becomes an important ingredient for many food in the world.

This family friendly event will provide you with an experience to have hands on making of Christmas ornaments or Rice Krispie House, and close interaction with the demonstrators and sampling their creations. Come and enjoy a session of tasting and demonstration of rice base snacks and dishes with your family and friends. In collaboration with Edible Artists Global Academy Association (EAGAA), a non-profit organization that aims in promoting all forms of edible arts and artists around the world, here is an incredible platform for art and cookery lovers!
