SOL SESSIONS Vol. 11 with
NICKODEMUS & DJ MUKAMBO
Sol Sessions is back for its final carnival of free form expression of the year! Vol. 11 will be featuring a champion of dance music on Saturday, 28th September.
After an amazing session last month, Waterbom Bali is hosting another great night with world-renowned Nickodemus and Afro-grooves specialist DJ Mukambo running the decks after the Sun hits the horizon.
Nickodemus has been globetrotting with his universal dance sounds since the late 90’s. DJ’ing spontaneously with live musicians became his specialty. As an experienced musical traveler, he excels mostly when playing in versatile settings, letting space and time guide the musical journey.
As a producer, Nickodemus produces music from all parts of the World, but all rooted in Club Music from his upbringing in NYC. He has sustained his energy and momentum for over 15 years with the Turntables on the Hudson parties and the WONDERWHEEL Recording label attracting artists from all over the world.
As a Belgian music journalist, global sounds activist, radiomaker and DJ based in Brussels, Mukambo has been specialising in music from around the globe since 2005 for several Belgian, Dutch and French newspapers and magazines. He has a clear penchant for African music, from the mother continent and the diaspora. DJ Mukambo Africanizes and groovalizes nightlife with Afro-grooves that will make y’all dance the whole nite round!
