After an afternoon spent on thrilling slides, warm your Saturday up with the energy of carnival grooves and joyful communion.
To kick off the Sol Sessions, Waterbom Bali is bringing back the exceptional artist DJ Vadim and the champion turntablist DJ Shortkut, playing a diverse selection of music, from instrumental hip-hop to latin dancehall reggae, all guaranteed to set the tone for a brilliant evening.
Founder of Jazz Fudge in early 1995, A&R, producer, promoter, record collector, award-winning radio presenter, writer, chef and yogi. Vadim has certainly been keeping himself busy and that’s before we even mention his DJ-ing itself which has seen him perform over 3000 times in 78 countries to date, performing at some of the worlds most prestigious festivals such as Glastonbury and Fuji Rock to name a few!
DJ Shortkut has beat juggled and scratched his way to legendary status in his 26 years in the scene, solidified by his membership in such illustrious DJ collectives. He is a numerous West Coast/USA DMC title holder and is responsible for creating some of the most influential dj routines of all time, literally bringing new techniques to the genre.
