Lushington Entertainments is proud to announce SEKAI NO OWARI (aka End of the World) will return to Hong Kong with their new ‘The Colors’ tour on 13 November 2019 (Wednesday) at the Star Hall, KITEC.
One of Japan’s most popular and skilled creative groups, SEKAI NO OWARI is composed of four distinct talents: Nakajin (guitar); Fukase (lead vocals,); Saori (piano); and the masked clown DJ LOVE.
These four childhood friends combined their passion and deep personal connections to achieve unprecedented success as one of Japan’s premier music acts. Their album “Tree”, released in 2015 reached #1 on the Oricon charts and was certified Double Platinum by the RIAJ (Recording Industry Association of Japan). The group has had two sell-out shows at Japan’s largest venue, the Nissan Stadium which seats 70,000 people.
In 2017, the group released their debut international singles ‘One More Night’ and ‘Stargazer’ and worked on collaborative projects with UK-based electronic act Clean Bandit after touring with them in the US and remixing their hit tune ‘Rockabye’, as well as the American funk-pop band DNCE.
Fully four years after the release of their previous album “Tree”, the band simultaneously released two brand new albums “Eye” and “Lip” earlier this February. Both albums reached No. 1 and No. 2 on the Oricon charts respectively. Following the albums’ release, the band also embarked on their new ‘The Colors’ tour, which brought 300,000 people across 28 shows.
