This season, The Gyu Bar highlights Manjimup black truffles and Hokkaido uni – treasures from land and sea – in a 10-course omakase menu ($238++). Renowned for its intense, earthy aroma, black truffles are sublime complements to well-marbled Japanese wagyu, as well as luscious Hokkaido uni. From now till 21 August 2022, partake in a feast that showcases the highly coveted produce across a variety of delicious courses curated by the beef specialist. The omakase menu is available for lunch and dinner for dine-in only.
Highlights from the delectable 10-course omakase menu include:
– Appetising Truffle Uni Cone filled with beef tartare and sliced onions, topped with
Hokkaido uni and freshly shaved truffle.
– Starters: Uni tempura, Yuzu wagyu carpaccio, Shishamo mentai with sawa gani, and
Kumamoto tomatoes.
– Wagyu lovers can look forward to the fifth course Yakiniku with two cuts of wagyu from two prefectures – Kagoshima Ichibo and Miyazaki Tenderloin.
– Grilled Olive Beef Uni Roll showcases Sanuki wagyu – one of the rarest wagyu in the
world – wrapped around silky Hokkaido uni.
– Relish the Ishiyaki Truffle Uni Rice features Hokkaido uni mixed with Hokkaido white
rice in a hot stone bowl, adorned with fresh black truffle shavings and an Okinawa egg yolk.
The Gyu Bar’s Manjimup truffles and Hokkaido uni special menu is available daily for dine-in until 21 August 2022, during lunch (12pm to 3pm) and dinner (6pm to 10pm).
