A charity event to help support the British Community in Thailand Foundation for the Needy (BCTFN) after the cancellation of this year’s venerable and much-loved Ploenchit Fair. Featuring eight bands, a British DJ, and an eclectic mix of special guests, BANGSTOCK is throwing the doors open to music fans and partygoers to enjoy and rock on with food and drinks at all-day happy hour prices.
The event will charge a THB 300 entry fee that is a direct donation to the charity.
A limited number of BANGSTOCK t-shirts will be available for sale. Look for them to become a collector’s item. A group of concerned residents were worried that the loss of this year’s Ploenchit Fair had left a gap in the Bangkok’s expat party scene and would lead to a potential shortfall for the many charities that the BCTFN has been supporting for decades.
